Electrode Graphite

Electrode graphite is a high-performance conductive material primarily used in electric arc furnace (EAF) and ladle furnace (LF) steelmaking. Made from petroleum coke and needle coke through calcination, mixing, molding, roasting, graphitization, and machining, electrode graphite offers outstanding thermal conductivity, chemical stability, and mechanical strength at elevated temperatures.
Becon’s graphite electrodes are engineered with high-purity raw materials and processed under strict quality control. Our electrodes exhibit low resistivity, high bulk density, and excellent oxidation resistance. They are available in various grades, including regular power (RP), high power (HP), and ultra-high power (UHP), to meet the needs of different steelmaking and refining operations. Custom dimensions and technical specifications are available upon request.
Our Electrode Graphite is the right solution for:
- Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) Steelmaking;
- Ladle Furnace (LF) Refining;
- Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) for Silicon and Phosphorus Production;
- Electroslag Remelting (ESR) for Special Steels;
- Non-ferrous Metal Smelting.
